City Welcomes Jakartan Hajj Pilgrims Arrival

We will collaborate to develop Jakarta and make it better

Jakarta Government welcomes Jakartan Hajj pilgrims arrival at City Hall, Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Jakarta Secretary's Community Welfare Assistant, Catur Laswanto encourages Hajj pilgrims to realize Jakarta as an advanced City with happy citizens.

"I am very grateful because many women who participate in Hajj pilgrimage," he mentioned, Saturday (10/13).

He explained, Jakarta Government creates community welfare program that involves with all aspects, such as health, education, economy, and social.

"Jakarta Government will cooperate with women as the leading sector," he affirmed.

According to him, women especially mothers in the society can be a direct information source to solve problems.

"Together with women, we are sure to get an accurate data and we will carry out activities including monitoring policies' implementation," he said.

He conveyed, Ikatan Persaudaraan Haji Indonesia (IPHI) has a great potential to contribute in City development programs.

"We will collaborate to develop Jakarta and make it better," he stated.
